Acupuncture, natural herbs and massage, are being considered for pain management, women’s health, infertility, weight loss, addictions, energy, stress, anxiety, skin problems, cancer treatments, sports injuries, etc.

 

As one acupuncturist said to me, “Like hair stylists there are many individuals offering acupuncture services”. In our next issue a Dr. of Holistic Medicine will give an overview of these services. We will also continue to introduce a few of the many new leading edge Medical Device companies.

 

In our current issue we introduce you to over twenty of these new companies. We also highlight and discuss new innovative products from IBM, VitalStim® Therapy, and Small Bone Innovation, Inc. In addition, Dr. Dave Golinger talks about a new non-surgical Spinal Decompression.

 

In our last issue, physicians discussed Constraint Therapy, Vision Therapy and the unfortunate story of Brian and his ordeal with Cytoreduction Surgery. We also highlighted an innovative rapid response program, a new open MRI machine, a company offering advancements in rehabilitation therapy, and a new prosthetic heart valve. Then we introduced you to a two year old company that is pending FDA approval, for a new device that for certain patients may offer an alternative to open heart surgery.
